This self-leveling sealant is compatible with EPDM and TPO sheeting and adheres firmly to a wide range of materials, including aluminum, mortar, wood, vinyl, galvanized metal, fiberglass, and concrete.

Ideally suited for aftermarket use, the Dicor EPDM Lap Sealant is one of the highest-volume products sold in RV stores today, offering a reliable solution for maintaining the integrity of roofing systems. To ensure proper application, the surface should be cleaned of dirt, loose paint, rust, oil, and grease before applying the sealant. It is recommended to allow the surface to dry completely before proceeding.

The sealant can be applied using standard caulking equipment, and in cold weather, it is advisable to warm the container to room temperature before use. The curing process for the lap sealant is as follows: it will skin over in approximately 5 minutes, become waterproof within 4 hours, and reach 80% cure in 48 hours. The full 100% cure is achieved after 30 days.

It is important to note that the production date, located on the bottom of the tube, is not an expiration date but rather the date of manufacture. Provided the sealant is stored in a dry location and away from extreme temperatures, it can last indefinitely. The ideal storage temperature range is between 55 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
